Our Story
The Essex Exchange is owned by Katrina Haskell and is a curated, upscale, resale multi-dealer shop of found vintage wares, art, jewelry and furniture! It is a unique treasure trove in Historic Essex, Massachusetts, their shop is where you’ll be able to find second-hand home furnishings, handmade items, painted furniture, attic antiques, and more. Stop by, browse, and meet the friendly staff!
The Essex Exchange is also a proud member of the Women of the Byway (Store #4). Women on the Byway celebrates women-owned businesses along the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway, a scenic route connecting coastal communities across the North Shore. A group of women entrepreneurs along the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway have joined forces to market themselves with a brochure of Woman Owned Businesses. The initiative encourages visitors to explore, shop local, and support the independent businesses that give the region its character. As part of this network, The Essex Exchange offers a curated collection of vintage wares, art, jewelry, furniture, and unique treasures in historic Essex.

There’s something for everyone here - there’s 15+ curators with a variety of antiques and vintage items, from home goods to jewelry, home made soaps, and some clothing options. The owner was so friendly and gave us tips for our weekend in the area. There are parking spots right in front of the shop. Highly recommend.

I accidentally found the most beautiful oak cabinet here. It matches every photo I've researched for a kitchen in homes as old as mine. I was so happy to find it and at such a reasonable price! Laura also helped me salvage other hardware replacement parts for my piece. She went above and beyond to accommodate me.
